Southern Africa Partnerships for the Prevention of Conflict

Southern Africa Partnerships for the Prevention of Conflict (SAPPC) is the leading Southern Africa Regions Conflict Prevention, Early Warning and Peacebuilding institution working in all the 16 SADC Member States Countries through a diverse network of CSO`s and experts. SAPPC has over 14 years of practical field work experience in Conflict Prevention and Peace Buildingand 9 Years in implementing regional and continental Conflict Early Warning Systems (CEWS) IN collaboration with the African Union Political Affairs (AU PAPS) and Southern Africa RECs, namely SADC and COMESA through its regional network of over 200 CSOs across the Southern Africa Region.

Our mission is to empower stakeholders in decision making as an effective regional network focused on conflict prevention, data collection and early warning mechanisms anchored in regional collaboration, evidence/data based programing and analysis on peace and security matters across the SADC Region using a human security lens to engage, discuss, learn, share and exchange knowledge, experiences and strategies in conflict prevention, conflict management and peaceful resolution of conflicts in the SADC Region and beyond.
